• Preside over all meetings of SAACURH

• Perform such duties as described in Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised that includes the preparation of agendas in consultation with the SEC

• Carry out all other executive functions properly as the Chief Executive Officer of SAACURH

• ​​Provide all required reports to the regional board and NACURH Board of Directors by requested deadlines

• Maintain regular and consistent contact with the individual member chapters 

• Represent regional NRHH interests 

• Determines all “Of the Month” (OTMs) on the regional level 

• Responsible for NRHH affiliation and assisting new chapters

• Responsible for the upkeep of all NRHH governing documents

• Chairs NRHH Representative Boardroom

• Organize bidding timelines for the Regional Leadership Conferences and Regional Business Conferences 

• Coordinates all regional conference award efforts

• Assists AD-NRHH with National Residence Hall Month

• Manage the SAACURH Listserv in coordination with the Regional Director. 

• Act as the regional historian by maintaining the regional archives through the database and ensuring the safe passage of the archives to the new CO for Public Relations and Spirit or the Regional Director

• Oversee and lead spirit initiatives before, during, and after regional and NACURH conferences. 

• Define opportunities and update standings for the regional spirit competition and publish results on the regional website.

• Create content in order to maintain regional social media platforms and interact with the region digitally.

• Maintain contact with the NRHH advisors in SAACURH and hold monthly NRHH advisor chats and/or establish an NRHH Advisor Committee to support campus NRHH advisors

• Assist in the development of bids for submissions to regional and NACURH levels

• Serve as the NRHH boardroom advisor at conferences

• Plan their respective Regional Conference (Business/Leadership)

• Prepare and present monthly reports on the status of the conference including detailed financial reports to the SEC.

• Attend all regional SEC chats from the time of selection until the acceptance of the Wrap Up Report for their respective conference by the Regional Director and Conference Resource Consultant.

• Attend all NACURH-affiliated conferences prior to the conference that they are hosting.

• Oversee the preparation and the expenditures of the annual SAACURH budget in conjunction with the Regional Director

• Have signature authorization on the SAACURH account, along with the Regional Advisor

• Coordinate all grants offered by SAACURH 

• Interpret the Constitution, Bylaws, and Policy Book, when necessary and to notify the NCCs over proper media

• Provide support and oversight to RHA (and equivalent) organizations and representatives within the region

• Coordinate participation and activities of RHA Presidents on the regional level

• ​Distribute all RHA-specific resources to representatives in a timely manner or within the specified timeline

• Develop helpful guides for conference delegations to prepare for conference attendance, such as Virtual Business(s) prior to RLC and RBC

• Create and distribute case studies (or equivalent initiatives) to member institutions and coordinate the case study competition at the Regional Leadership Conference and Regional Business Conference 

• Create and distribute resources focused on leadership development, and enhancing student success 

• Provide updates regarding Regional Philanthropy Projects, Advocacy initiatives, and Leadership resources available to the region

• Maintain contact with the RHA advisors in SAACURH and hold monthly advisor chats.

• Assist in the development of financial stability and growth of the region

• Assist in the growth of affiliation across the region alongside the regional director.

• Serve as the NCC boardroom advisor at conferences

• Shall be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ART track-based program for SAACURH Advisor(s) and Co-Advisor(s)

• Shall maintain contact with on campus advisors in the region providing support, promoting advisor engagement, and improving communication and communication between Advisors 

• Shall develop and upkeep assessment and evaluation of advisor engagement within SAACURH and NACURH:

• Plan their respective Regional Conference (Business/Leadership)

• Prepare and present monthly reports on the status of the conference including detailed financial reports to the SEC.
